Fettle Inc. strives to offer visitors to this site, the many advantages of Internet technology.
However, we generally insist on discussing with you, the user, the terms of any information that we share as content. This mostly applies to case studies, testimonials, and other lessons learned. To learn more about how we collect data please keep reading but note the following:
We will never sell, barter, loan or rent your email address to any unauthorized third party. “Period.”
How We Gather Information
How we collect and store information depends on the page you are visiting, but presently we can only gather information via comments left on our blog, messages sent to us via email or other social media, and through our newsletter sign-up sheet.
These activities are opt-in only, whereby you must elect to participate in the services provided.
In future (as we launch Koachable or Fitnack for example), you may be asked to provide more detailed information when you register for access to certain free and paid online or offline offerings.
You may also wish to provide information when you participate in sweepstakes and contests, message boards and chat rooms, and other interactive areas of our site.
Like most web sites, Fettle also collects information automatically and through the use of electronic tools that may be transparent to our visitors.
For example, we may use tools like heat mapping or analytics programs (like google analytics) in an effort to optimize our offerings to you as a service provider.
Services like this may log the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or use ‘cookie’ technology to recognize you and hold information from your visit. Cookies may store your user name and password, sparing you from having to re-enter that information each time you visit, or may control the number of times you encounter a particular advertisement while visiting our site.
As we adopt additional and new technology, we may also gather information through other means, obviously this policy is subject to change, without notification.
In certain cases, you can choose not to provide us with information, for example by setting your browser to refuse to accept cookies, or employing the use of software that mask your IP address, but if you do you may be unable to access certain portions of the site or may be asked to re-enter your user name and password.
We cannot guarantee that you will be able to customize the site’s features according to your own preferences.
What We Do With the Information
Like most other web publishers, we collect information to enhance your visit and deliver more appropriate content and appealing design.
You may see advertising on our websites in the future, and subscribing to our newsletter may mean that we send you offers/deals on things we love to use.
However, we respect your privacy and do not share your information with anyone, including sponsors and/or advertisers.
Information that does not personally identify you can be used in many ways.
As yet another example, we may combine information about your usage patterns with similar information obtained from other users to help enhance our site and services (i.e. using google analytics to learn which pages are visited most, or where our users spend the most time when they are on the site).
Information that does not personally identify you may occasionally be shared with our business partners and on our other web projects (namely in helping others get set up with our application products).
Again, this information does not include any ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ about you or allow anyone to identify you individually.
The generalist data that we collect, gives us insights into content generation and consequently may help others who use our products and services.
Again, all of this information is opt-in only, meaning you will have had to submit this information to us, for us to get in contact with you.
Personally Identifiable Information collected by Fettle Inc. may in some instances, be used for other purposes, including but not limited to site administration, web design, web coding, troubleshooting, processing of e-commerce transactions, administration of sweepstakes or contests, and other communications with you.
In some cases there are certain third parties who provide technical support for our operation (our Web hosting service for example) who may access such information. We will use your information only as permitted by law.
In addition, from time to time as we continue to develop our business, we may sell, buy, merge or partner with other companies or businesses.
In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
We may also disclose your information in response to a court order, at other times when we believe we are reasonably required to do so by law, in connection with the collection of amounts you may owe to us, and/or to law enforcement authorities whenever we deem it appropriate or necessary. Please note we may not provide you with notice prior to disclosure in such cases and in some cases we may be mandated not to inform you by law enforcement agencies.
Such lawful action is immediately out of our control, and we know that it is extremely unlikely for a fitness and coaching oriented business to be lawfully bound in such a way, provided you are using our products (habitzual.com, skillbasedfitness.com, fettle.ca, artofweightlossblog.com, darrenbeattie.com) in accordance with your local laws.
We insist that you to use our products in a lawful manner, any unlawful behavior may result in termination of service.

For example, some of our advertising is served by third parties and may include cookies that enable the advertiser to determine how many referrals they received from us, and how many times you potentially clicked on one of our links.
You should also be aware that if you voluntarily disclose Personally Identifiable Information in the comments sections, on our message boards or in our chat areas, that information can be viewed publicly and can be collected and used by third parties without our knowledge and may result in unsolicited messages from other individuals or third parties.
